Nice! Thanks again!
You wouldn't happen to know the story lines behind these scenes, would you? I'm curious.

No. I can't read enough Spanish and French to get an idea. I usually track down stuff and scan through it. If something looks interesting I will translate it. I can upload the whole stories of the scenes (If that is OK with the Moderators), but you'll have to translate yourself as it can be time consuming.

Re: Yet More Comic Book Sinking Scenes
I've collected the stories from the issues into a password protected zip file. If the moderators OK it I will upload it to this thread. I didn't want to just upload it without permission because it is 9.5 MB and I wasn't sure if putting the whole stories here would be a rules violation.

Not sure If this one has been here either, but I thought I'd fire away. A male scene from a comic book adaptation of Hound of the Baskervilles.

Can't help you with Spanish, but my French is still up to he task. The black and white one on the last page reads as follows -
Frame One - Come on, come on; calm down young man.
- Ow!
Frame Two - Please be kind to us, sir. Let us have a little petrol or we'll never conquer Planet Pluton.
- My eyes; I'm blind.
circle - Oh all right, I'll fill your jerrycan; but in any case the conquest of Pluton is scuppered for this episode - there's only one page left [surreal, huh?]
Frame Three - Don't cry, Guy; It's all sorted out - we've got the petrol.
- I'm not crying; I've lost my contact lenses because of that senile old ...
- You'll have to give me your hand; I'll guide you my poor darling.
Frame Four - That'll do. I've had enough of you undermy feet [literally between my legs - French idioms,eh?]. Go away and leave mein peace.
Frame Five - I know I was a bit sharp, but I'mnot ten years old. I can look after myself.
- But - this is quicksand. Help!
Frame Six - You wouldn't be so heartless as to leave me half-blind in this hostile forest?
- Hold on, Guy, I'll get you out of there.
- What if I was dead, eh? You'd be in a right heap of trouble.
- Gently does it - you'll pull my arm out of its socket.
Frame Seven - That's wonderful my [some sort of shoes] are sunk to the depths, and without them I'm screwed.
- What do you mean, screwed?
Frame eight - Well, you surely can't expect me to walk arund barefoot; stung and bitten by beasties. Out of the question.
- There's only one solution.
I'll look at the colour one tomorrow.
In order to make an apple pie from scratch you first have to create the universe.
