Here's a new one... alas, I only found the one page for it, but perhaps our UK friends can be of help. It is from a British comic and is part of a reprint collection published in the summer.

There was no related story in the comic.
So it basically is left to the viewer’s imagination.
All the issues had a “protagonist is screwed regardless of choices” vibe to their covers.

Here's a scene which IO never saw before. I'll post the whole story to give it context. It's not great, but it is quicksand, and the set up is cool.
