That is as close as you can get to actually seeing the scene. Nice find, Sherlock Holmes!

The outcome of this shoot is definitive proof that time travel is not possible.
Otherwise, somebody would have travelled back to make sure this sequence actually ended up being made...

Not really. Virtual reality will be so powerful by then that we won't need old movie clips. We will be able to create our own.
I can just see quicksand lovers in the future constantly sending their fembots into mires too.

Somehow missed this scene when browsing through DigitalComicMuseum.com
It features Toni Gayle, fashion model and amateur sleuth.

Re: Yet More Comic Book Sinking Scenes
Okay, here's a scene serving as a comeuppance to a very nasty character, taken straight from EC Comic's Two Fisted Tales. My personal favorite sort of quicksand scene. No ladies, alas, but cool nonetheless. (And maybe a future scene idea for our producers?)
"Pirate Gold" tells the tale of an amnesiac captain who slowly recalls the crew members who betrayed him, and the gold they did it for, and proceeds to kill everyone in sight, innocent and guilty alike, in his quest for revenge and greed. Too bad for him he forgot the final sticking point about the treasure

Shot these with my camera straight from my collection of reprints. It didn't turn out too bad, eh?

Cool scene - these are my favorite kinds of scene as well - quicksand as grim justice! I wish they would have done couple of more panels of him sinking to his doom, but not bad nonetheless. Again, thanks for sharing it!
