Ooh, deep spot?! 5 amateur arts from Northerner

Postby Northerner » Sun Jul 27, 2014 2:31 am

Please vote on your TWO FAVORITE of these 5 amateur artworks. I declare now I am "going PRO," and I plan to sell quicksandy comics for real this time, so keep an eye out for me in the "Other Producers" forum in the near future! Or follow my alias "Silkyfriction" on deviantArt.

My understanding is, it's ok for me to continue posting my "free" artwork in this forum, as long as I don't advertise whatever paid offerings I eventually craft :) It's always been a thrill to contribute quicksand artwork to the community (since ~1996!) and now I'm going to follow my delusions of grandeur and try to produce an even higher level of artistic quicksand content.

All of these are very nice!

I voted for "Quicksand Insanity" and "Quicksand Swimsuit Sketches" since they both show quicksand drama in several nice frames.

The silliness and drama in "Quicksand Insanity" is a really nice mix. The lead gal is so into her exploration of quicksand that she's oblivious to her sinky situation as well as what's happening to the two gals in the background. I like how all three gals have discoverered, much to their dismay, the sticky suction of quicksand as they get stuck and begin to sink. Even when her friend grabs a hold of her to pull herself free of the mire, the lead gal still hasn't a clue of what's going on.

And, "Quicksand Swimsuit Sketches" shows a number of outstanding camera angles of these women getting stuck and mired in quicksand. And, yes, I concur that one-piece swimsuits are sexy, especially the ones that are one-piece thong swimsuits with the side openings riding high over the hips. Usually a t-shirt or a polo shirt makes for a nice addition. The view shown on the top row, middle image, shows a great view from the quicksand's point of view as the gal slowly sinks down into it. And, the bottom row, left-hand image, is nice camera angle almost at the quicksand's level as you get a feel for how stuck and trapped she is in the thick mire during low tide, and the effort she is expending on trying to get free only to sink deeper.

Thanks for sharing!
