This one's for Weapon X and his love of beach quicksand!
---
Liz and her girlfriends just wanted to have a bit of fun. When they heard of a beach that no one went to, they packed their gear and spent a weekend in the summer sun. With nobody around for miles, the girls stripped off and worked on their tans. After their sunbathing session, and a bit of a swim, the girls decided to pose for a keepsake photo. Liz took out her phone for the first photo and positioned herself to get the best view of the group against the wide blue sea.
"Oh, we might be standing in quicksand!" the girls chirped, giggling as they tried to keep their balance on the quaking sand.
Liz laughed as the girls struggled with the sticky sand. Once she contained her giggles, she pointed the camera at the girls. "Alright ladies, one - two - three..."
"QUICKSAND!"
Liz snapped the photo. "You're meant to say 'cheese'!"
"No! Quicksand!" The girls waved frantically. "You're standing in quicksand!"
Confused, Liz looked down and realised what the strange tingling feeling around her legs was...and how deep she was! She turned to her friends for help, but they were also stuck! Maybe this was why no one came to this beach!

Awesome! Love this! Love the art, and the set up.
Photographers make great quicksand victims, because they tend to pay attention to just the camera, and not the surroundings...

Thank you! Now that I'm getting a bit more comfortable with art, I'm feeling the same wanderlust as I am with writing stories. I don't feel satisfied with producing simple sketches of someone in quicksand, and instead I want to build stories around the scenarios to make them more memorable. That said, I also have numerous "one-off" scenarios that I can't flesh out into a story, and hoped that someone would create a drawing or 3D rendering of. Well, I stopped hoping and started doing.
