Being a fan of all things Playboy I took with regret the news of the passing of Yvette Vickers, Miss July, 1959. We all get old and leave someday but the most disturbing thing about this is that nobody knows exactly when she died. Her mummified remains were recently found in her dilapidated house after someone noticed the cobwebs and old mail in her mailbox. Police suspect she may have been dead for up to a year. How awful that someone once so popular could go unseen for that long and nobody noticed or cared.
Her two biggest movie credits include the Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman and Attack of the Giant Leeches. Here she is in better days -

You're right. That wasn't her and I knew but screwed up anyway. I had heard that she was a older than she claimed but that was so common among actresses of the day it was normal.
