Indian Summer Is Awesome....

Topped out at 76 degrees this afternoon so the roomie and I decided to get in one last sink. Turned out to be the perfect afternoon. Most people have already started putting their summer toys away so we didn't have to dodge anybody on dirtbikes or quads, and the clay was that perfect clinging consistancy that leaves you covered in inches of it even after you manage to drag yourself out of the pit. Had the pleasure of rescuing the other half after she buried herself in it and couldn't get out hahaha.....awesome end to the sinking season all around. Never thought I'd get to take a dip on October.

Lucky you, I'm from PA originally but out here in the rockies I had what will probably my last sink of the season this afternoon/evening. It's interesting the mud itself didn't seem that cold but the 4 mile bike ride back home was a bitch. I took along my digital point and shoot to try to get some vid snippets but couldn't figure out how to use the "video mode"

Unless we get a good dose of that indian summer here, I'll have to be content with watching what goes on here instead. Hopefully you'll have a few more days like that before old man winter hits the fan.
