Looking for sinking spots in KY and TN

I'm driving up to Michigan for work next week and was planning to spread my drive over 2 days, stopping in Kentucky or Tennessee. Does anyone know of any good sinking spots in either of those states? I'm also looking into a couple abandoned sand mine prospects, but I'd be grateful for any verified spots. Thanks!
