Our Fantasy

Postby Herzeleid » Tue Oct 01, 2013 5:31 am

I was thinking about our special "Interest " the other day, and got to wondering whether anyone else is fed up with all these experts claiming that it's impossible to be sucked under in real quicksand, and that it only exists in movies, etc. Surely the whole point of our quicksand fantasy is that it behaves how WE want it to, and not how it would in "Real life " After all, the chances of you strolling through the woods, etc. and rescuing a real damsel in distress are pretty slim, although one lives in hope ! I'd be interested in other member's thoughts on this. :)

Well, it really is impossible. There's no denying it. And it's not like experts go on TV promoting the anti-Hollywoodsand message like climate change, so I'm not fed up with it either. That said, of course I like to indulge in our fantasy. That's why it's a fantasy.

I dare suspect the whole point of fantasies is to muse upon the impossible.
Sexual, fetish or otherwise!

Yep. It is silly to argue real life physics when talking about a fantasy. Cut the silly folks some slack, though. I, as an example, was well over 40 years old before I figured that out.

I've been stuck enough to know that what physics deems impossible isn't that impossible. Maybe our highly cultivated Hollywood fantasy isn't always there but having somebody to play in the mud with will make it that way in your head. All of that combined gives the fantasy just enough plausibility that I can buy into it. It's certainly no less plausible than any non-fetish fantasy of incredibly hot women actually wanting most men. It's no more fantastic than myriad other fantasies that fill our lives in movies, books, television, gaming, and on and on. I'll take it.

You know, now that I've had some time to ponder this whole thing, most of my fantasies and some actual experiences are way, waaaaay, to hell more fantastic than anything I've ever seen on video so far.

Does anyone else feel that way?

Unfortunately where I live in the UK there's nowhere around here where I can act out my fantasies. there was a sand quarry near here in the early 70's which I visited a couple of times, but that's long gone, so unlike Duncan I have to make do with the MPV videos, excellent tough they are. :(

When I discovered that actual quicksand wasn't nearly as dangerous as Hollywood quicksand, I couldn't decide if I was relieved or disappointed. On the one hand, people wouldn't really die if they blundered into it. And I don't want people to die.

On the other hand, that pesky fact sure did shoot down a pleasurable fantasy.

In a practical sense, though, I am glad that my mudpits are not deadly.

If quicksand behaved exactly like it does in Hollywood, it would be difficult...no, impossible!...to enjoy the experience of sinking in it...

More than once.

Good point. As to non-quicksand "adult entertainment" most of it is boringly repetitive, poorly acted, and nowhere near as hot as real life.

As to quicksand, I have one moment that's seared into my memory. I was working crew at Studio 588, and we were shooting a night scene in the peat pit. The actress (Nyssa Nevers) had to re-position herself for the next shot. She tried to move- and couldn't. She tried again- and the peat sucked her in deeper. Her eyes got the size of dinner plates, and she had that perfect damsel-in-distress look. For about two seconds. Then a huge grin spread across her face, and she laughed that deep, velvety, evil laugh of hers. "Welcome to the world of mud bondage" I said. 8-) Fantasy is great, but reality ROCKS.

Much as I love QS fetish video, nothing could compare with actually being at a mud pit with a real lady who was "into" quicksand, either for itself or as a bondage/rescue scene. But it will have to do, until real-life circumstances change. :|

I did hear one case when the story Four Babes in a Bog was being filmed one of the gals had to be helped out because the quicksand/mud was particulary thick in that spot.
Even in one of Chuck Langs works where he used two gals in one shot they both needed help getting out.
