Another waders request

I know I don't post on these forums very often, but anyone who has read any of my previous posts will know I'm a fan of rainwear and rubber boots - the heavier, the better.

There are a few others on here who share that interest, so for both me any them I'd like to offer some props for a custom scene featuring chest waders.

Are there any producers here that would consider producing a scene or two (or more) with models wearing chest waders? I know there are producers that cater to the rubber and rainwear fetishes, but few combine that with deep mud and sinking.

Perhaps just as importantly, are there any models that would wear waders, or even enjoy it?

If there is any interest, I'm happy to supply props to fit whoever might end up wearing them, and would be prepared to pay a bit over the odds to make up for the very niche appeal of a scene like this, to help make it commercially viable.

The mention of rainwear intrigues me more than does the waders. May I ask what would be the content of a scene in that category? Are you talking about going in the mud with raingear on, with it staying on for the whole scene or are we talking about a scene that starts in the rain with the actress wearing raingear? Or something else?

You will soon see Leila in rain gear - shot at the QS location in the U.K., where she got stuck and I had to rescue her.

And I could probably get another shot in this fall, like the photo you shared. IF the weather holds up.

I'm interested in another custom shoot. Your new location sounds quite interesting for a "last-minute" video this autumn. your model (dressed just like my current avatar) is perhaps collecting some soil samples or the like?

Thank you all for the replies - sorry I went a bit quiet again, I posted the original request just before going on vacation and didn't have much of a chance to check back in since.

I do realise that the safety of the models is, and must be the primary consideration in any shoot. I would never expect anyone to put themselves in harm's way - though I did appreciate Leila getting herself extremely stuck in front of the camera. Interestingly, I had never considered the problem of extracting the waders without the model in them. I don't have any personal experience of how difficult it is to climb out of deep mud or quicksand whilst wearing them, but I'm sure Bart could offer some insight!

Regarding the rainwear, I think Bart's reply and picture sums it up quite well for me - it's the kind of attire I would choose to wear if exploring deep mud or bogs, and it adds to the realism of a scene if the model is wearing something more suited to the environment. Biologists and environmentalists don't tend to dress smart (or undress) to do their work.

But ultimately, it is a fetish, and I cannot explain it any more than the quicksand side of things.

Regarding the extraction of empty boots: I do have some experience with this, with everything from tennis shoes to thigh-high boots, but not hip or chest waders. it depends enormously on the thickness of the mud. I have had scenes in which the actress complained of being unable to move her feet without abandoning the footwear because the clay was very thick. This tends to happen more in the early part of the season. When the scene was over I had to get in and really haul sometimes to get them out. If a large pair of boots were to actually fill with mud I suspect extrction might become effectively impossible withouot the use of a hse to thin the mud.
