I've been thinking about a kind of quicksand or tar story where a woman is trapped and is very slowly going deeper and deeper. Between bouts of struggling she starts philosophizing on her life and life in general. The deeper she goes the more desperate and more insane she gets, as she's trapped for days or even weeks. At the end when she's chin deep she yells for the quicksand to take her under and get it over with. Is there anything like that out there, or would someone be interested in writing it? (I did ask for a story sort of like this one called Open Quicksand that someone posted a few years ago, so I know about that already.)
Much thanks in advance.

Actually, I like that idea. I'll bear it in mind. Don't hold your breath, though. Whilst I am back at the keyboard after a long hiatus, and writing a lot (in various genres) sometimes it takes me a while to get from idea to execution.
In order to make an apple pie from scratch you first have to create the universe.
