Re: anyone sank lately?
Just two days ago the quagmire nearly consumed me. There where just a couple of inches left...
I go only at night and do wear a lot of waterproof gear. Sorry no pix, only EXP to share

I'm already chindeep in this mudbog and every desperate attempt to move my stuck legs only drives me deeper in. The thick mud slowly swamps my waders and my arms have nothing to hold onto.
I'm feeling home.

Re: anyone sank lately?
I am trying to get myself back into shape, and while my early season Harris Creek quicksilt slide area is not in the cards (it is a shame, with all the rain we have been getting creating mudslides elsewhere where they are not wanted, but then, the weather has been persistently on the cool side), I should at least be ready for my summer places, especially the Crescent Road pond sinking spot. I just have to make certain that I can regain enough muscle tone without any further strains (especially in my abdominal muscles), and have to approach things gradually and carefully at first, until my body gets used to it. I have gone for way too long without being completely swallowed under by a sucking, pulsating, heaving, farting patch of voracious quagmire!
I sink, therefore I WAM!!!!

Not warm enough yet and with all the frost and stuff still coming out of the ground, bogs are typically flooded. Tidal flats too cold and the quarry hasn't really started up yet for the year. I figure by May
