Hi Everyone,
When I was a teenager, I came across this quicksand scene featuring a female sinking to her doom in a bog. I recently found out that this was by the artist, Wally Wood (Wallace Wood), done in Woodward Gazette #2 in 1978 and a version in the 1984 magazine, either issue #1 or #2.
One of the first quicksand comics I had ever seen - been looking for it for some years and just found it. Enjoy.
Mike

Here's the first version of this comic I ever saw on Kaol's old site. It's as awesome now as it was then!

That's really all there is to see. The following pages has the little guy slicing up all the bad guys.
But indeed, a very nice 'scene'. Nice to be reminded of it.

It was nice to see the lead-up to it to give the character at least a little depth.
It would seem that dialog was altered as well. I prefer the longer extended version

I remember there was a quicksand scene in the Artbook Dies Irae by Milo Manara as well... I've found the cover (shown) but my copy is buried somewhere...
