Too many people gave up , and S1 and 2 certainly made you throw up your hands in despair, or want to fucking choke the life out of the retard Twins with your bare hands. Bermann and Braga ensured that Enterprise would suck, by ignoring canon, and when you do THAT and futz with background stuff that has been around for oh, north of 35 years, they have no right to be shocked when the shit blows up their faces. They can gurgle bullshit until they drown, but the FACT is that THEY presided over the only Trek series to be canceled since the original.

After "The Visitor" the rated episodes are "Trials and Tribbleations", then the 3-linked episodes starting the Dominion invasion and Dukat taking over Cardassia, ("In Purgatory's Shadow", "By Inferno's Light") closed by "Rocks and Shoals" . The #2 episode is "Far Beyond the Stars", another great story where Sisko has a vision where he is a science fiction writer in 1953 America. The whole cast has roles in it as assorted characters, and asks , really, what is reality, and what is the dream? Is Sisko dreaming? Or is HE the dream? Good stuff here

They are doing Voyager today. Finding 10 that you consider "best" seems to be a futile exercise at best there...

TNG is tomorrow, and I think they voting on this is pretty screwed up. No mention of "The Inner Light" or "Tapestry" , never mind something like ''The Measure of a Man'' , one of the standouts from S2. At least they have some Q episodes, including "Q Who"

That was when The Borg were a No-Shit serious threat who did NOT fuck around. If the Q-Who Borg, or even the BBW Borg had remained the standard, the Federation would have been fucked. But luckily, they started to futz with the premise, and then Voyager did it's bit , and totally fucked them for life

It also showed the writers stopped paying attention to each other; in Q Who, they detected no life forms. When they went aboard, they were astonished to find MILLIONS of Borg. This bug was later ignored as time passed. Having the Borg not register as life-forms would have been a sinister , and terrible threat. It would be like a pop-up Walker you never know where they could be.


It was amusing though, when they were doing the Voyager 10, the Space chan douchebag was commenting on how many times this ep marked that Janeway had died, or Harry, or Voyager destroyed.....Not realizing he was just underlining how fucking stupid their "Reset Button" was. Voyager used that to the extreme, turning what could have been great ideas and story arcs into the eh, fuckit status quo.

First three up are ''The Naked Time", "Balance of Terror'' and "Arena". A good start there. "Arena" was the very first episode I ever remember seeing. It is remarkable that the supposedly 'cheesy' Gorn costume, looked way better than the cgi they tried in Enterprise over 30 years later. Delicious And "Balance of Terror"? Romulans, and Mark Lenard in his first appearance as the Romulan Commander (later as Sarek of Vulcan) it might be just 'The Enemy Below' in space, but it's done right, when they new how to actually do drama. It does annoy some people for the science bugs, but come on. If that's the best you can do, you aren't paying attention
