Thank you for accepting me in your group. It's amazing that there are other people who share this obsession/fetish as I do.
A little bit about myself. From a very young age I was absolutely terrified of quicksand. So much so that if I saw a scene on TV I had to leave the room. It bothered me even to hear someone say the word. Not sure why this is or how it developed.
When I was nine I had an incident where I was walking around in the snow in this semi rural area near my new home. I accidentally stepped in this snow covered ravine. The snow was so light and fluffy that it wouldn't support my weight. I was over my head and I could tell as I moved I fell in deeper. Quicksnow?! Luckily I kept my head and gently and slowly crawled my way out. I don't know about drowning in it but I could have froze to death before someone found me.
When I was older and met the girl I would eventually marry, one weekend we went camping. We were walking along a lake and there were muddy patches. Twice she remarked that she felt she was trying to walk through quicksand. My god, she said that word. Twice! Instead of being repulsed I actually liked it. I guess that was the start of a realization that this was a fetish thing. From then on, when we were out hiking and stuff, I would sometimes refer to quicksand myself, hoping she would jump in and talk about it too ( before this I would never even say "quicksand" myself). Then a few years ago I worked up the courage to look up postings on the internet. First pictures and then videos. Now I find it actually pleasurable to watch videos of people in quicksand. Searching out scene on Youtube and such.
Again, great to be part of this group!

Welcome to Quicksand Fans!
Glad to hear that you have overcome your fears of quicksand, or at least viewing and talking about it!
That is a great first step! Hopefully, the first of many!
