My Granddad got to see Halley's Comet twice; the second time we watched it together. But Granddad was only three the last time the Cubs won the Series, and they didn't even have games on the radio then. He passed away in 2004. So yeah, this may be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I plan on hanging around long enough to see Halley's Comet again, if I can manage it. (Last time was a bit of a disappointment.) We'll see if the Cubs get another Series win before 2062.
