Yeah it's an odd number, but they can worry about the uneven math there for a while before it would become a problem. I suppose. It's the Midget's NHL so it's likely not entirely logic-based. As for other teams, Quebec is the #1 must-have , and really, SHOULD have been up first. Which why I said Dollars Matter .... There's been talk about a Halifax team (meh, not sure there) and another Southern Ontario Team (Leafs and fans usually lose their shit there in short order, despite the NY area having 3 fucking teams you could see taking city transit...) And I've heard Oklahoma had been making some noise for a team. New Orleans, Atlanta rumbles, but insiders generally dismiss them with the "you had your chance" boot -- they in Calgary, eh? We'll see. It does come down to the money thing , but also the ability to draw players, not just fans. Warm-climate teams have indeed been drawing, and winning. It just comes down to selling the game, AND having hockey guys - eg - Tampa. Stevie Y as GM? Yeah, they serious guys who want the cup. That sort of organization

I honestly have no idea. Hockey in the desert hasn't done great in Arizona, even if the team has been not awful. And you have to remember, logic and reason are not always used in the NHL - especially the midget's NHL. Remember Minnesota? The ORIGINAL ones. No problem moving to Dallas, Whereas Hartford, all sorts of roadblocks. Douchecock in Minnesota eventually used attendance as excuse to grease his exit. Never forgot the Hartford owner's riposte: " only averaging 10,000 fans a game?! If I had that, I'd hold a fucking parade!"
