A small detail....

My favorite scene for many years was the "Coy meets girl" episode of The Dukes of Hazard. The mud in this scene was covered by leaves and grass. There are other scenes I enjoyed as well where the covering was simply forest debris. Then I thought back to my first sinking experiences and realized my own go-to bog was covered in dry, dead leaves much of the year. This small detail seems to be an important trigger for me.

Yeah, I like leaves and stuff covering hidden qs too. It adds to the surprise and "danger" aspect of it, I think. When the unsuspecting victim blunders in.
That was a cool Dukes episode too.

Agreed! The Incredible Hulk qs scene was like that, too.
