Wow, I'm glad somebody remembers and appreciates that seriously under-rated film. Most people, even horror fan's never even heard of it. Great story!

BTW, there have been rumblings of a remake. Not sure I'm thrilled with that.

Thank you for the kind words. Yes, there's a Tourist Trap fan page on Facebook that mentioned a potential remake, but I doubt that will occur. Unfortunately, if one did, it will likely be something that's direct to video and likely be a poor shadow of the original. Even remakes by the original producer (e.g. Wes Craven with Nightmare on Elm Street and The Hills Have Eyes, Sam Raimi with The Evil Dead) seem to fall short when compared to their original version with their fans.
