Japan helicopter carrier conducts operation to protect US ships

At least they used Izumo
The spazoid-freakout level would have been more if they sent Kaga :D
And , for the record, these boats COULD be used to carry F-35Bs, which would put them back in the power-projection business for the first time in, oh, 72 years.....

As long as they don't climb Mount Niitaka everything is fine.
Let's hope tensions will not get even worse over there. NK is a lot more powerful than any other opponents the last decades... (at least in the short run)

The NKs can do a lot of damage and kill a whole lot of people; mostly civilians in Seoul. But once they shoot their bolt, they will die like fucking dogs. The ROK will ensure THAT  You want to see what hardcore old-style combat looks like, you'll see it from these guys. And they will be utterly merciless. ESPECIALLY after widdle Kimmy has just murdered thousands of their countrymen.

The real problem isn't the military. The problem is after we're done using them for target practivlce what do you do with a country full of 20 million starving people. The refugee inundation would cause more long term damage to SK than the shelling they'd take during the initial fighting.

I'd be wondering how many would remain alive if the balloon really went up and KIm managed to lob one of his nuclear firecrackers at a US carrier group... (I'm figuring Seoul would be target #1, but he may decide to use his chemical weapons there...) ) I don't see America practicing much restraint in their response...

a) There is still, NO valid evidence he actually has functional Atomics
b) Firing one at Stennis's Battle Group, the SAM defences would blow it out of the sky
c) If that was REAL , and salvage-fuses to initiate, thus proving, he actually has just used atomic weapons against the United States...
d) Strategic Policy for 6 decades is to REPLY IN KIND. Kim Dong small, gets fucking incinerated by actual , REAL , thermonuclear weapons

Also THAAD is deployed and active, so inbounds targeted on Seoul would be engaged
And It should be known (the retardo-spazoids in ''media'' likely have no clue..) that Chemys employed would be same as using nukes under strategic responses. And , He should worry more about the ROKs; I shit you NOT. Those guys are BADASS motherfucking soldiers. They would slaughter every fucking NK they found. Nevermind if they had a uniform or not

Technically, aren't all WMDs considered equal? Not that we'd respond with nukes to a chemical attack on Seoul, but I think that's how the law goes.

Best thing that could happen to the people of the DPRK (NK) is for their so-called leadership to be taken out. Might take a generation to sort things out again (like with East Germany) but everybody will be better off. And then there's Venezuela. I almost wish we had an excuse to go in there before the famine gets any worse and more people are shot down in the streets.

As far as WE'RE concerned, yeah since *technically we don't have chemys. And technically is a fuzzy term
If it was the Sovs and they used chemys, we would reply in kind with nukes. But it would be a little more dodgy here. The however, is what the ROK would say (or scream) which we WOULD listen to. The lefto-spazoid-retard argument of 'innocent NK people' would be fucking hollow , and I would pay money to see the asshole saying that die on camera by South Korean hands....since the widdle bitch had just killed thousands of innocent civilians. If it goes hot, it will be messy. People are generally imbeciles, and have no memory of what a REAL war looks like.

There's a long list of pre-planned and gamed out responses to NK provocations. Two things to consider first would be NK actually having nukes they can shoot, which I doubt, and have they gone completely insane? Not likely. I doubt the NK leadership has swallowed so much of their own propaganda that they would lose sight of being unable to defeat a much more powerful ROK and it's vastly more powerful allies. Always remember that real information does not come from NK, just noise. If they really had secret weapons they would keep them...well, y'know...secret. The more noise they make the more insecurity they are actually trying to mask. -

If in an ultimate moment of madness they actually went and did something as crazy as setting off a nuke in hostility it would likely invoke whatever OPLAN 56XXX-123XXX Rev 9XXX that sets in place the nuking of NK leadership bunkers and military bases with as few low yield thermonuclear firecrackers as required to do the job. Not only do we have to make as little mess as possible for the ROK to clean up but there are issues of fallout for all the closely sited people that we don't hate. Attacking bases along the Chinese border for example would be off limits and so would anything too close to the south. If the wind is blowing the wrong way we're going to upset some folks in Japan as well. None of this would happen without full mobilization by all the good guys and that takes a little while at best.

Nothing will be made easier by NK gaining actual useful nukes. The moment the world really believes that they have such it will force the other players in the region to do the same. Japan and South Korea in particular have the capability but choose not to. We need to make sure this choice remains in their hands.
.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

Too many people either forget or don't know that Yung Fat Ho and most of his inner circle are western educated people who know how the real world works. Everything they do is designed to manipulate the outside world and their own people in a scam that keeps them enriched and pampered. They're playing the entire world like a harp and will do so till someone drops a cruise missile on them.
