Survivorman QS/Mud clip

Saw previews to survivorman yesterday. One clip it had the host of survivorman out with another person who looked to be a female. The female was attempting to cross what looked like a mud filled creek. She attempted to jump but failed and sank immediately up to her waist and that is where the clip ended. Not a big watcher of Survivorman so don't know if it is old or not. If it isn't then it might be someting to look foward to.

I've seen the commercial you're referring to and I've not seen it in any of the shows of his I've watched before. This thing is to go out completely alone, so the presence of another (and a female) would definitely stick out.

I've been trying to catch a hint as to when they'll air that episode, but they're being very vague about it. Apparently they're now catering to the QS crowd? :mrgreen:

Apparently Les Stroud has a new show that is going to begin very soon. The premise is that he takes a bunch of kids out into the wild and lets the try to survive. You can check the website for it here - http://www.ytv.com/programming/shows/survive_this/

There are some video clips on there but they are not available to anyone in my geographic area. I assume that means someone in Canada might want to check it out if interested. 8-)

That actually sounds like a scene from Mantracker, where a team of two has to cross an area while being hunted by experienced trackers. This very thing happened on one episode.
