Did he mention anywhere what that one was made of? He said he's replacing it with AR500......

The old one? No, think it was your basic thick target steel; good enough for pistols, but not for rifle and high-velocity stuff or big stuff like 45-70. The over the hill range for the rifle plates, clearly they can take it. But they all relatively small, so I guessing expensive

I was curious because rifle rounds tend to go right through even thicker steel plates unless they're really high grade. I get scrap 65ksi plates from work and punch holes right through them with an AR or AK.
