Micro-Clip (first try, better things to come someday)

Postby noone » Sun Jul 23, 2017 5:32 pm

Like the title Sez, the attached is a VERY short clip. The first tiny bit I managed to do with Daz 3d.
There is no sinking yet. No Music, no voice, no emotional expressions, no gestures, no zooming in, no change in cameras, and the walking looks Fawkward as Truck...

Again, this is my first go at it. I need critical commentary. As I do not get my feeling's hurt: Speak your mind.
If you think something needs to be changed, be blunt with your response.

Yes, I know her boobs grow out of her collar bone and stick out straight and have no jiggle.
I am learning, and I will make a better female morph in the future.

So, without any further pre-amble, "A short walk to QUICKSAND!"

urm, how do I post video?

Hey! Not bad at all for a first try. :D It took me a long time to figure out how to get the walk cycle to work so you're already further along that I am. Bravo! :)

I've been dabbling with Daz myself again lately and I understand there's quite the learning curve to any kind of 3D modelling. Doing animation is even harder, which is why I stick to rendering still images (at least for now). I think you know quite well about most of the things that you need yet to do / learn, though you might want to add lighting to the list.

What is your current toolchain? Just Daz Studio so far? (If so, you might be looking into additional software for modelling sooner than you think, and then you'll be experimenting with exporting/importing stuff etc.)
Visit me at the Great Swamp, but watch your step on the way there!

my tools are:
2010 photoshop elements - No cloud.
the "free" cuda video converter (editor) wich isn't until I buy it... which means it isn't really free, and it is showing its age.
I was able to run the "Repair" on windows movie maker so add that to the list.

...Photoshop E, is severely limited compared to the cloud version,
but it becomes obvious that any idiot (me) can use it to full effect
without needing cla$$e$ to find all the tiny hidden mini-micro-hidden buttons and hidden menus.
Yeah, I ain't got no spot heal worth a damn... But I own my copy, my PS-e does not own me.

My most valued tool among these is (drum roll) windows movie maker. why?
each button does what it says it does, and anyone can use it. to my knowledge, there aren't "cla$$e$" for WMM.

for me, Daz is a struggle. even to create a single static image can take a whole day of work.
Yet, the goal of making a quicksand computer movie with an unrealistic-one out of a billion- woman,
is one I won't let go.

"hacker tool"? Seriously?

WinRAR is a file archive compression utility, like WinZip. And also like WinZip, it is shareware (30-day try-before-you-buy software), not free.

For a free tool to handle RAR files and dozens of other formats, 7-Zip will do the trick.

I tried to open it with rar.r. Couldn't open it but it caused havoc on my video player. Couldn't play any movie on my computer after that.
Tarzan to Jill Hardy: Girl be still. Not sink!!"
From "Valley Of Mystery" : Don't struggle and do not thrash around; that just makes things worse!

go to control panel, select the uninstall, select the repair option. good luck.

... wow, I really am old, one of the few who know the origin of winrar and that you can use it for free forever...
