This was a bad movie starring Jack Palance. There are 2 scenes, one at 17:00, the other at about 40:00

That looks good but did they explain why there was quicksand in the cellar? Was the house built in a swamp or something? :shock: :?

Yes, weird in the context of the movie. Especially when you consider that gas pipe. (Did the guys from the gas company get hazard pay to install that?)

But there are days I'd like to have a quicksand basement to play in.

Quicksand can be ANYWHERE! Even in the basement of your house! Haha. I assume there's some kind of explanation (in the latter scene some valuables are actually hidden on the end of a rope IN the quicksand), but we'd need to watch the rest of the movie to find out.

Been a very long time since I've seen that old scene. I was starting to think I'd imagined it. :lol: Great find, thanks!
I love the dark, clumpy look of that qs. I even like the straw on top. :lol:
How long did Tarzan watch before deciding to save Jill..?

True.... except to me, the straw on top reminds me too much of a barnyard and its deposits.... ick.
