Discussing Ideas (not scenes)

I would 100% purchase many more audio files like this if the creator decided to make more. QS audio erotica has been brought up before here and there, but never really seemed to get a lot of traction.

I have to ask why you use this method of replying to people. I know there's a bit of a taboo or rule over producers posting in general spaces, but you seem to be the only one who maintains this "code" of not posting *any* producer-related content or opinion outside of the producer forums. It just goes against how forums work. People want to see the relevant discussion in a single thread, not go out of there way to visit another thread in another section to see a reply that is now out of context. I can understand the reluctance to promote work outside of the producer forums, but this seems a little too pedantic. I really don't think people mind that much when producers speak of their work in general discussion. If anything, the approach of "Come to my forum to see my response" is more publicising than just answering or commenting in the original thread.

I am attempting to conform to the forum rules as I understand them.

As someone you did that to once, and I only discovered your response by pure chance as I don't usually go to your area, you appear to be the only one who interprets them that way IMHO
Oh tosh! Tanya retorted, quicksand churning,
Round her knees, then thighs, then oh dear!
It got intimate with her hips and her panties,
And squished rather funnily up her rear!

There's nothing in the rules that states that producers cannot discuss their work outside of the producers' forums. Dave frequently talks about what MPV does. There might be a gentleman's agreement in place about not actively promoting products and services, but partaking in normal forum activity is not something that most would consider to be promotional activity.

The rule in question does not apply to regular forum members, so it's not 'listed'. It was agreed to early on, and has to do with producers themselves mentioning specific product (scenes) in the public area of the board. It does not apply to production philosophy.

This 'internal' rule has been clear from the beginning, and I have been very consistent when called upon to either interpret or enforce it.

Invoking the rule to comment about something someone is not going to produce doesn't make sense.

Yes, but in this case its something I would consider doing.

I believe that's consistent with Dave's comment about discussion on production philosophy (and other related production discussion). To my understanding, as long as it's clear that a producer isn't promoting themselves or their specific work, it's fair game. There's a difference between "I have been considering doing male POV scenes" and "You might want to check out "Star's Panty Trap" for a male POV scene". Otherwise the producers will just have to leave cookie crumbs to follow the trail back to the producer forums every time someone asks a general question.

Then, just say so. 8-)

Once you get to point of needing to reference a specific scene, that would be the time to re-direct to the producer area.

Well fair enough. Actually, I DID say so in the reply to Ace, but from this point on I think what you are saying is the only thing barred from the public forums is mention of specific products (and I presume services).
