I was considering the other one on that page, but after inspection I find no quicksand in it. The girl is standing in dirty water, and as soon as her hands are freed from the overhead branch, she walks right out. The cover was certainly deceiving.

Very nice. Thank you for the translation! I do recall this one... great leggy stuck and sinkiness of the woman. Love how the artist drew her feet getting stuck in the mud on the second page, and she looked wonderfully sexy stuck thigh-deep in the clinging mire.

Wow that jungle one you posted yesterday was brilliant! Feet getting stuck, then knee-deep, then a long slow rescue, including someone else getting stuck, and great angles on the characters being dragged out.

And it's drawn as clinging sticky muck, in many comics it is flat with ripples and could simply be water.

Really great angles, close-ups of faces, nice action poses... even aside from the quicksand stuff, it looks like a comic with a talented artist.
