Nice catch. Irwin Allen, producer of the original Lost in Space, Time Tunnel, Land of the Giants, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, used quicksand as a plot device in each of these series. Sometimes more than once. I remember having such high hopes for his awful, I mean truly awful, volcano disaster flick When Time Ran Out. It had some awesome A-list Hollywood cast led by Paul Newman and Jacqueline Bisset running through the jungle but phttttp. Nada. It might pay to keep an eye on anything associated with him.
