Just to add, he actually posted on my first and only story so far before he passed away, so I feel really would enjoy some closure on how he died if that's at all possible...

Re: Godspeed PM2K
This is a sad and terrible shock. PM2K has been in the community as long as I have (I date from 2000). Back when I had a Yahoo group, he generously fed it with his cartoon fakery and helped me keep things going. They were good fakes, too.
Most people have days when they aren't at their best but I can't think of one single time, ever, when he failed to be positive, encouraging, supportive and kind. He was like that when he posted and he was like that when we exchanged some private emails.
He is going to be sorely missed around here.

There isn't any specific information readily available.
On a personal note, I'd rather not engage in speculation in situations like this. PM2K always showed a lot of class. We should as well.

this is so sad; not only did he post frequently, but he was so creative and clever, and so positive

So heartbreaking to hear this news. He was such a great story teller and everytime when I did his commissions, his words would just inspire me to make great art. Will miss him a great deal.

Even for a lurker like me...hearing this shocked even me. Even I felt like his presence around here made this forum what it is.
His stories, commissions he requested from others...wow...he will be missed indeed

I am shocked, and saddened by this. He was always so positive, never said anything bad, and his posts kept me coming back here when posts slowed down.

Very sad to hear. He was definitely a large part of the quicksand community. He will be missed.
