That makes 2 friends who have passed on this year so far. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

This leaves a void in this community that I doubt anyone will fill for a long time
As someone else mentioned, he was sometimes the one and only comment on a post and always supportive of whatever had been posted.
You'll be missed by far more people than you could possibly imagine, PM2K

Re: Godspeed PM2K
When I saw the title of this thread, I feared the worst and it was true. His passing is a great loss for us all. Although others have already said it better, I feel compelled to say something as well. I always looked forward to his stories. They were thoughtful, creative and entertaining. He was such a prolific artist, I don't know how he found the energy or inspiration to produce so much for so many years. And as others have so rightfully pointed out, he was an active participant here and everywhere else QS could be found on the internet. He responded to nearly every post, offering words of congratulations or encouragement. He was often the first person to welcome someone new. He found so many new images, movies and things that we had never seen before. And sometimes he would be the only person to say something in response to a post. I know having experienced that, but seeing his response, knowing that someone cared enough to take the time to say something nice, made you feel like you were a part of something more here. It seemed like he went out of his way to make sure everyone felt welcome here.
Dave, thank you for letting us know. I'm sad that I never really interacted with him much more other than the occasional "thank you" and letting him know when I liked his work. I wish I had said more. But I am happy to see so many people speak out in tribute to him. He deserves that and he will truly be missed.
