Well, I've answered this question before; and my response remains the same. I'd like to see Lucy Lawless and Hudson Leick sinking. Yes, I know it's been done, but - and this is the crucial bit - I'd like Fred to direct so that it can be done right.

I agree with PM2K and Lomax. If you're going to have a quicksand scene, get someone who know how to do it right. You have special directors for fight scenes or special effects. Why not specialists for quicksand? Fred, Dave and the other producers on this site could do as good a job on a quicksand scene as any of Hollywood's directors. I'm sure one of them could be another Steven Spielberg with quicksand.

I can see it now: "QT- The Quicksand Terrestrial." It's about an adorable alien with a face only a mother could love who comes to Earth looking for quicksand. He's befriended by several lonely but beautiful young women who join him in sinking sessions. All the while, he's being pursued by government agents who want to study him.

I think I've been up too late and I should go to bed.

Adrienne Barbeau - Swamp Thing was clueless to have cut the quicksand scene from the script - I will always want to imagine that buxom body sinking slowly into a pool of black muck - sigh - not to be. Let Dave or Fred or Duncan direct her in a remake! I guess it's my favorite scene that never happened.
