Nice pull. That was very clean.
For the uninitiated, that quicksand scene is not in the actual movie.
Regardless, this movie provided many boner moments for me back in the day. There is a brief goodie when Joan Van Ark gets her feet stuck in some underwater goo. But really, more to the issue of arousal, this movie was about atmospherics. And it had it in spades.

Is there a video for that anywhere?

Yeah, if you watch from the 1:00:00 mark, you can see where they changed her death to a snake bite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kd0gbI_5sCQ
But even the stuck scene was a fail. She starts tugging one one leg, but when she sees the snapping turtle coming at her, she screams and moves her foot back with zero resistance as if it was never stuck at all. That one error made it all look fake and ruined the entire scene for me. Starts at the 1:14:00 mark.

I will always remember this movie for the giant plastic frog they had on top of the theater marquee. It had red glowing eyes and a human arm dangling from it's mouth.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

I believe the name of the actress that gets her foot stuck is Lynn Borden. Joan Van Ark escapes with Sam Elliott in the canoe with the two children.

Ah, thank you for the correction.
That was many moons (a quite a few brain cells) ago.

I got high as 2 kites before I went to see this movie to really get into (so to speak) the QS scene...which never turned up!

I did likewise when I purchased Tomb Raider 3 a year after I read that it would include quicksand. What a build-up to a major let-down that was. Basically you just got water rendered with a different texture.
