I really want to go sinking this weekend, but there seems to be nowhere nearby as I live in the city.
Does anyone here know if there's any good spots near Glasgow, Scotland?
I have a bus pass so actually getting there won't be a problem if a bus passes near where it is.
Any good spots near Glasgow?

Being tidal, when the river is low, you can see what amounts to almost a mud beach under the South Portland St and Jamaica bridges. Probably not ideal for what you're looking for though. There are possibly mud flats downriver, i.e beyond the city itself closer to Greenock or Helensburgh, but having passed that way earlier in the year, there was quite a stench even from a mile or two inland, so I wouldn't like to bet on what one might find out there.

Low tide under the Erskine bridge, the Cart estuaries near the airport amongst others!! Public transport is a bit limiting.
