Not always, SinkerCutie. A few weeks ago I finished posting my nine-part story "The Kid" in which, after some very harrowing moments, everyone lives to greet another day. ;)

I feel that, usually, it's better for the victim to escape...if only so the victim can sink again later.

Just try to think of the victim as sorta like "The Master" or the Daleks of Dr Who. No matter how many times he/she/ or they get killed in one episode, in a later one we find out differently.

Oh, no! Now you spoiled it for me. I have only gotten around to reading the first 3 chapters so far (which are great BTW).

And here's a little bonus pic. I thought it would be nice to give in overview of the pit and its surroundings.

No, you don't get to see Lara in this one at all. At least I don't think you do. Or is that ... nah... no bubbles either. Hmm...

Oops! Didn't mean to spoil it for you, Aiko, although if you've finished the first three chapters you already know that Angela has apparently sunk to her "doom." Even so, there are still a lot of unexpected surprises in the story. And thank you for the compliment, as I must also compliment your artistic capabilities. :)

Heh. No worries, that can happen. I still intend to read the remaining chapters. :)

So, I was just sticking around and waiting for some bubbles to come to the surface, but instead it looks like Lara just doesn't know when to quit. That girl tends to be quite stubborn.
