There is no substitute for a creative and vaguely plausible story if one has an unexpected encounter at a quarry but keep in mind that your story needs to constantly change to fit what you are doing at the moment. And even in a given situation, there are usually two types of stories that you must chose from at a moment's notice, a story that might get you let go and a story that minimizes your legal exposure if things go wrong.

Well I didn’t think that would actually work. But just was putting it out there! So... then we should all just get together and buy an old quarry, right?

Joking. (Unless anyone actually has the means to do that)

As much as I fantasize about sinking deep into a creamy Quarry clay, I think the ramifications that would last a lifetime if I were caught, makes getting stuck in Swamp/Estuary Mud seem more enjoyable.

But that's just me.
