You can escape by jumping out if it in the game...

I wonder if Elefseus can make a video of the quicksand if they can find the game that is...

The quicksand in that game looks pretty nice. Comparable to Half-Genie Hero's, even...

Here it is. It's got all the occurrences of quicksand in those levels, by the way. Personally, I was satisfied by the way the player character struggles as she sinks.

I thought that Elefseus could provide a video of Betty and Synder in the slow-down mud...

I was planning on doing so, however, Xbox emulation is still at its early stages, which makes it a complete inconvenience. Add to the fact that I don't have the necessary resources (physical devices, such as the Xbox and TV-to-computer recording equipment) for such a thing, as well as being filled with different real-life tasks. With that, it is encouraged that anyone else who has said game may share clips for these obstacles.

I think that an Emulator or two is finally up... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsuju8AR9cs

elefseus, is it okay if I asked you to, in subsequent quicksand showcases, actually let the player sink and die as you used to, as long as it doesn't send you back a ways in-game or something?

If I were to implement your proposed idea for future clips, I'd structure the footage in such a way that such scenarios go first. Considering that numerous games are played via emulators, save states can help in this matter.

Going forward, what are your thoughts on this?

I don't think I would mind this. Honestly, as long as we can get a good look at the character sinking and dying it's fine. Maybe have this moment be where they're walked into quicksand, starting from as shallow as possible, especially in games with wonky QS physics like Castle of Succubus (a game where I won't say anything about letting Simone sink and die because nothing interesting happens when you do so), and left idle to sink to their demise.

I'd missed it in a handful of recent videos like Ys Origin and particularly The Missing.

Special thanks to 4Bs to discovering this.

Game Title: Dragon: Marked for Death
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Area Number/Name: Tomb of Litus
Notes: The game has 4 playable classes, 2 of which are female: The Empress and the Witch. The quicksand is as sandy as a desert, but thick enough to slow you down as you travel in it. One pit only goes waist deep, but I'm going to search if there are pits any deeper than that.

Here are gameplay videos featuring the Empress and the Witch, as they trudge through the quicksand along the way.

If anyone else has videos focusing on the sinking aspect, please feel free to share.

I think that we may need some vid updates from time to time.

Or at the very least keeping the links working. Right now the links to videos that were still in mixtape.moe might have been broken.
