And Columbia serial pictures never quite had the same high status as the Republic ones. We're fortunate that good digital copies of the Batman and Superman serials are available.

As far as I can tell, the clip on Youtube was taken from the version I may have put up on quicksandmovies.net or captured from one of the clip tapes I assembled. If I recall correctly, I have the original scene as part of a Congo Bill VHS box set. It's one of many scenes that will be revisited for re-capture/re-rendering.
Of course, if anyone ever sees this available on DVD, let me know.
