Hey Everybody! :wave:

It won't be long now! All but Paris's beautiful face has been swallowed by the quickmud! She paws and grabs at the surface of the mire in total futility. She knows that she only has seconds before she disappears from the world and nothing she can do will stop her decent! Yet knowing she is probably doomed, she continues to fight, to call out, to try to stay above the surface for just one second longer!

Okay! As I type this, we've rendered up to frame 6818, but her eyes in this frame just tells the story like no other.

What fate awaits our beautiful Paris?

Hey Everybody!

Sorry I have not posted in a while. I've been working on the movie but there's not really anything worth showing until now. Here's a picture from a short shot of Paris on her way to the beach, passing the tiki bar, but she's not interested in the drinks, or the bar tender. A rich spoiled girl like Paris doesn't associate with the help. I guess Paris never leaned the lesson, don't piss off people who handle what you eat and drink.

This is why the nude bathers must be covered until they reach the beach. Don't want the bar tender or the rest of the staff getting any ideas. So our bar guy is board and frustrated that he's in this beautiful resort and he just can't seem to get lucky. :frustrated: -revamp So, what's a guy to do when a rich bitch pisses you off one too many times?

Hey everybody!

Here's what I've been working on. This is the nude beach of all nude beaches! Yeah This is the place our girl Paris so desperately wants to get to, she has no clue that she's on the wrong trail. A very very WRONG trail!

This is a shot that I just got finished animating. I just released an earlier version of this still on DA that was rendered directly in Poser, but this was done in Lightwave where I added better foliage, the towels, and the animated shore line.

Remember, the bathers have to be covered after they leave the beach as they walk to the changing area, and of course, the bar.

So, what's going on in this shot? Beside 10 beautiful babes enjoying the sand, surf, sunshine, and each other, Two of them will have a role to play in the telling of this story. Can you guess which two? Can you guess what their role is?

Neither can I! But it will be important.

And judging by the hair color of the young lady lying supine on said towel, I'd say that one of them is our Paris! Will she get into an argument with her partner and stomp away from the beach, only to try to return by the wrong path and end up blundering into quicksand?

Hey Everybody!

Here' another picture that answers at least one question from my last picture. Here are Jane and Gabrielle. They are both a BFF to our girl Paris! While they have been waiting patiently for Paris to meet them on the beach, they've been getting busy. It's getting late and they're getting ready to call it a day. They wonder where Paris is. It's like she disappeared off the face of the earth.

There's not really much to show here. Right now, I'm doing a lot of boring stuff to get the movie ready for release. I posted this to give you all a little something for being so patient, and as a way to make an announcement.

Ahem!

Everybody has been asking when the movie will be finished. Well, I still don't know exactly, but I'm at a point where I can make a reasonable prediction, and I want to set a tentative (VERY TENTATIVE!) release date.

Being the Pagan and Horror fan that I am, I am looking to release the movie on DA, here at http://www.quicksandfans.com, and at thatquicksandsite.com on ALL HALLOWS EVE!



Yep! That's right, it's just a month away! Unless something goes wrong, which it almost always does, but I will try.
