K.I.S.S.- Idunn Sinks
A Fire Emblem: Binding Blade QS Fan Fiction
by DJlurker
"Where am I...?"
Idunn, the dark priestess Manakete who had been rescued by Roy and brought to the hidden dragon's village of Arcadia, was currently wandering aimlessly through the desert that hid said village... A sudden sandstorm had whipped up and separated her from her companions, the divine dragon Fae and village guardian Igrene. Her mismatched pink and green eyes strained to see anything other than miles and miles of sand dunes, a light wind tousling her long light-purple hair...
Fortunately, it wasn't too hot out today, so she wouldn't be dying of heat stroke anytime soon... Still, Idunn pressed onward, not knowing where she was going, but also realizing that staying still would accomplish nothing. But as she trudged forward, she suddenly found it hard to move her bare feet through the sand...
"What...?" Idunn stopped, feeling moisture around her feet, looking down and seeing the lower edge of her purple dress pressing into the ground. Trying to take another step, she stumbled and fell to her knees, soon feeling that wet sensation surrounding her lower legs... Attempting to stand, the Manakete instead felt her legs pressing deeper into the wet sand that now entrapped her.
"What is this...?" She could feel herself slowly sinking down, the ground having engulfed her almost to her thighs. Any attempt to move only accelerated her descent... "The ground is... eating me...?" But it didn't seem as if it were alive, as it only seemed to react to her movements...
Something then occurred to her. "Is this... what Igrene calls... quicksand?" She had overheard the blonde archer talking about it before, something about it having swallowed her dead lover... but she hadn't understood at the time. (But I'm not dead,) she thought, (so maybe it won't swallow me...?)
The pale-skinned woman drew in a breath as she felt her hips being taken in, her hands now pressing against the quicksand... Idunn lifted said hands up, to see the wet sand clinging to them... rubbing it between her fingers, it didn't seem any different from other wet sand, so why was this quicksand sinking her down?
She was up to her waist in the soft earth now, still sinking slowly but steadily... yet, it wasn't an entirely unpleasant sensation. Idunn could feel the wet sand flowing around her legs, gently caressing them as it held them in place... She shivered involuntarily, for some unknown reason, a soft moan escaping her lips... The Manakete pressed her hands against the surface, only for them to sink in and become stuck, any attempt to lift them out futile... She was now hopelessly trapped in the quicksand, as she sank down to her chest, the wet sand gently fondling her slight bosom...
And then... it stopped.
Idunn blinked a few times as she realized she was no longer sinking, but floating in the wet sand, though it still held her firmly in it's sucking grip. So it wasn't going to swallow her after all... Curiously, she shifted her weight, feeling the sand flowing around her body, settling down another inch... The feeling of the moist earth pressing against her chest caused Idunn to shudder and moan again, a wave of sensation suddenly surging through her body. "Yes..." she moaned.
The dragon woman slowly clenched her hands into fists, feeling the wet sand flowing around them... she wiggled her hips, the wet mass bulging against her groin, arcing another wave of sensation through her quivering body... her eyes slid shut as she moaned softly, continuing to shift and wiggle her body in the quicksand, which caressed and massage her body with it's wet sandy texture... the corners of Idunn's mouth turning upward as she focused on the feeling of the earth rubbing over her hard nipples under her purple dress... "Yes... oh yes..."
But then, her tapered ears picked up a ghost of a voice echoing through the desert... "...unn... Idunn... ere are you... Idunn, can you hear me? Answer me, pwease!" Ah... she knew that voice.
"Fae! I'm over here!" Idunn called out, trying to turn herself toward the source of the voice, the quicksand resisting as it sucked heavily on her submerged body, causing a louder moan to escape the Manakete's lips... Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a little girl with messy pink-purple hair running to her- Fae.
"Oh NO!" the little dragon girl screeched to a halt, her green eyes going wide with horror. "Idunn, you're in the quicksand!"
"...Yes. I am," Idunn confirmed.
"Ohnoohnoohno! You're gonna DIE! You're gonna get sucked down by the quicksand and DIE!" Fae squealed in utter panic, suddenly turning and running off. "Igreeeene! Idunn's in the quicksand! She's gonna die! Help! Help!"
Idunn blinked in confusion at her fellow Manakete's actions. (Why would I die? The quicksand doesn't hurt me, and it won't swallow me... I'm just stuck.) She gently tugged at her arms, the wet sand still gripping them tightly... this action induced the quicksand to start flowing around her body again, Idunn smiling again from the pleasurable sensation...
The former dark priestess continued to undulate in the soft wet sand for a few minutes, until her ears picked up the sound of voices again... this time, there was an older, mature voice along with Fae's. Sure enough, Igrene the sniper came running up alongside the little divine dragon. "Idunn! Are you all right?"
"Y...yes," the purple-haired Manakete nodded as she quivered again. "This quicksand... it feels nice..."
"What do ya mean, nice?! You're gonna DIE!" Fae protested.
"Fae, stop! Hold your breath and count to ten," Igrene ordered, in that stern manner only a mother could. Fae promptly did as told, Igrene waiting until she was finished. "Are you calmed down now?"
"Y, yeah," the little girl stuttered. "B-but what about Idunn?!"
"Idunn's going to be fine," the blonde archer assured her. "She's not wearing or carrying anything heavy, so the quicksand can't swallow her all the way. We have plenty of time to get her out, okay?"
"...OK," Fae nodded. "But what are we gonna do?!"
"You just stay there for now," Igrene instructed, before turning back to Idunn. "Now watch me closely, Fae..." She knelt and laid flat on the sand, before starting to crawl forward... "If you find yourself in quicksand, you need to lay down and spread yourself out. That way you won't sink. Understand?"
"Uh-huh," the little Manakete nodded.
"Should I have done that?" Idunn queried.
"You should have, but this is your first time encountering quicksand," Igrene pointed out as she made her way out to her. "Can you move at all, Idunn?"
"A little bit, but this quicksand sucks on me when I do," she explained. "And... it feels nice when it does..."
The sniper blinked a few times at this admission... (Well, now I've heard everything,) the mused as she slowly wrapped her arms around Idunn's body under her armpits. "Okay, I'm going to try to pull you a little closer to solid ground, so try and wiggle your body a bit to loosen up the sand..."
"All right," Idunn nodded, closing her eyes as she began to shift and wiggle her body, smiling again at feeling the soft earth sucking on her body as she did so... At the same time, Igrene started pulling the Manakete in Fae's direction, her lower body starting to sink in so she could get some leverage..."
"Igrene, you're sinking!" Fae cried in panic.
"I know what I'm doing!" the blonde called back, managing to move Idunn around her a bit, even as she sank down to her own bosom in the quicksand... As she felt the wet earth sucking at her, it dawned on her just why Idunn had enjoyed this... But now wasn't the time for that. "Fae! Transform into your dragon form, then turn around so we can grab your tail!"
"Huh...? Oh! I get it!" the little girl nodded in understanding, taking out her dragonstone and changing into her feathered dragon form, turning around and stretching out her tail...
Igrene reached out, missing the first time, but managing to grab onto Fae's tail firmly the second time. "Does that hurt, Fae?"
"Uh-uh!" the dragon shook her head.
"Okay, good. Here, Idunn, grab on..." the blonde pulled her a little closer, managing to lever her arms out of the quicksand, the Manakete hesitating for a moment before reaching out and grabbing a firm hold onto the tail. "You got a good grip?"
"I think so..."
"Okay. Now Fae, walk forward and try to pull her out!" The divine dragon obeyed, growling with exertion as she pulled, the wet sand sucking at the fellow Manakete's body, resisting their efforts... But, slowly but surely, Idunn was pulled clear of the quicksand, her lower body still covered in dirt. That done, Fae reverted to normal, unable to maintain the transformation anymore. "Good work!" Igrene praised her.
"I got her out?" Fae gasped, turning around. "Yay! Idunn's out! ...oh no, Igrene, you're still in the quicksand! Now what?!"
"Calm down, Fae. I know how to get out," the village guardian measured her, leaning back and slowly bringing her legs up and out, then turning over and crawling back to terra firma. "See? I'm out."
"Phew!" Fae sighed in relief. "Can you show me how you do that, if I ever sink in quicksand?"
"...Me too," Idunn concurred.
"After we get back to the village and get cleaned up," Igrene stated. "Can you stand, Idunn? Do you need help?"
"I think I can stand," Idunn said as she slowly rose to her feet, a bit unsteady.
"Well, here, I'll help you walk," the blonde said as she put an arm around the girl's waist. "Fae, you keep an eye out for bandits, okay?"
"OK! I'll burn up any bad guys that try to get us!" Fae agreed enthusiastically.
"Good girl. All right, let's go." With that, the three set off for home... But as they walked, Idunn couldn't help but glance back at the quicksand that had entrapped and pleasured her... Hopefully, if Igrene taught her how to get out on her own, she would able to come back and enjoy the feel of the soft, wet earth another time...

I can imagine Idunn returning to enjoy the quicksand at some later time, but I have to wonder if Igrene might do the same ("now wasn't the time for that"... but some other time might be?)

Maybe they’ll have a nice sand bath together in the future...

It’s a KISS, which stands for “Keep It Simple Stupid”, meaning, that the story’a plot is very simple and basic, and I think a sequel departs from what a KISS story is supposed to be; a KISS story is meant to be a simple one shot with plot that doesn’t take more than a day at most to plan out, I’m guessing. Not sure if this is how they are written, but I assume due to their basic nature, they are written in one sitting.
Although not gonna lie, a sequel to a lot of stories would be nice. My Animusa story included. Hopefully I find a way to get back into that.

Now, now, I never said I wouldn't write a more elaborate sequel to one of these... That being said, I've decided to discard the Igrene idea, and have Idunn wallow with someone else instead... All I will spoil for you is that it will take place in the Fire Emblem Heroes (mobile game) universe. Also, I want to finish my Black Zelda sequel(about 60% or so done), so it might be a little while.

I know from experience that no matter how simple my story ideas start out, they never stay that way for long!

I'm still working on my sequel to "The Kid" and "The Girl," and even though I'm eighty-five pages into it in Microsoft Word, I suspect that I'm only about halfway through it!
