I'm sure she'll cry out for someone in that house over there to come help her; too bad it's abandoned.

Sometime later, someone might find the canoe, and wonder how it got there. "Must have got away from someone and drifted downstream," they'll say, unless of course, they also happen to step onto the river bank :o
