This brings back wonderful memories. Boy, has technology changed. Pretty soon we will have holograms or virtual reality of quicksand sinking!

Oh dude. The Quicksand Page in it's original 1995 version was responsible for a lifetime alteration of my universe. As that scrolled down at 2400 baud, my heart was in my throat. I got dizzy. I literally did not sleep for the next three days as I searched the entire web for more. It's been my life's work ever since. Religion would be envious. :shock: :o
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

I have just seen the Word-Find again!

The entire site oozed self-confidence and comfort with the quicksand thing, and it was a huge, huge place with many rooms...but that Word-Find (among a page of other ridiculous tidbits) was the icing on the cake.

He did that? Really? I absolutely had to send that guy an email.

Kaol changed everything. I'm sure I'd have found my way here, somehow -- that much was inevitable, but it would have been at a much lower level of participation.
