I'm not a fan of this kind of scenes as they are always CGI effects and I don't like quicksand made of CGI... In the 2012 SyFy movie Haunted High, there is a scene starring Charisma Carpenter with a scene similar to what you are looking for, I leave the link on youtube of this scene:
