Asking a question for all those with experience in sinking, have you ever gotten too stuck? I wonder if it's even possible. Would love to hear your stories!
But I have one as well, one time I was mudding around my side yard. Not very deep, but good quality mud. One of the spots went up to the top of my foot, probably my deepest pit at the time. This was also one of the pits that was filled with leftover clay from a construction project in the same side yard, so it was very sticky! Even though it was shallow, I just couldn't pull out my boots. I didn't want to get my feet dirty or get them stuck either. I did have a water bottle on me, so I poured some of it onto the mud and I was able to escape. Was probably my best, yet most terrifying experience with sinking.
Have you ever felt like you couldn't escape?

Dude I got stuck shin deep so bad in a sand trap surrounded by normal fun boyant mud with a sand top to it.
It was the middle of July and I got 2nd degree burns on my face neck back and shoulders.
That was horrifying I was just pulling on this water logged sand for like 3 hours. It was fun and all for like 2 hours. Before that. Even had a waterfall next to me.
But dang I would dig with my fingers and nothing.
