OMG, I’ve never seen such huge chicken breasts The one on the bottom is probably more than a pound! I don’t know what these chickens looked like before their appointment with the meat processor, but my guess is something like the chicken equivalent of one of Redjak6t4’s typical victims

I'm more of a Turkey Butt man.

Sometimes I'll stick it on top of the overflow dressing (along with the neck and liver etc.), which I bake separately. There's still plenty of fat still in there afterwards though.

The smart chickens are the ones who warn the others to look both ways before crossing the road, and they're the ones who are the hardest to catch when the meat processor comes to collect them.

We actually did habe a couple of chickens set up like that, then the drip pan at the bottom. They make a good appetizer to pick at while you sit there and smell the main course cooking.

I really miss doing whole hog though. One of my uncles used to have a huge smoker that would fit a whole pig but it was built in and sold with the house when he passed years ago. The flavor you get from all those cuts cooking and getting shredded together is just unobtainable anyother way.

The sad part about this was that I was offered the first (best) cut, and passed. But it was all good.
