"The Mongols" - Anita Ekberg - Life Magazine 3/3/61

Many years ago while still just an early teen I was digging through some old issues of "Life" magazine. Fascinated by great photos, space, and lovely ladies when I chanced upon this image. Anita Ekberg in Quicksand

I purchased the old magazine for fifty cents and still have it. Here it is today revealed by Google's incredible and undiscovered book search. 8-)
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

Found the movie on amazon. Fairly cheep too.

This makes the second time that I know of that Anita finds herself up to her neck..or we find her...

I guess it would have to be. Anita probably had more issues with positive buoyancy than any of the stuntmen in there with her.

I guess you are making reference to Anita being buried up to her chin in sand with Bob Hope in Call Me Bwana. Strangely I recall having seen that one on television when I was very young. I always recognized her after that. 8-)
