Came across this scene I'd heard of, but never seen before, features the recently passed British actor David McCallum.

Scene starts at 34 minute mark. It's a bit too dark to make it all out, but another one to cross off the list.

Seriously though, chalk this one up as another example of a dark scene that completely fails when it has been stepped down to video. Still hoping for a decent copy of the Riverboat scene.

That certainly is better than the two crap copies I located on VHS back in the day. Maybe some day, someone with some agency will do a proper transfer from the original film. I'm not holding my breath though. The folks who would be interested in this series are dying off.
