In at least some parts of Massachusetts, March 17 is actually two different holidays. The other one is "Evacuation Day," celebrating the departure of British troops from Boston during the Revolutionary War.

Happy St. Paddy's day! Enjoying a pint of Guinness and traditional Irish fare like corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate. Sláinte!
