The ground felt very unstable, any movement and she would sink, the question was "how far". Still, she had to do something, staying still wasn't an option, eventually she's sink anyway and the the longer she stayed still the more the mud tightened around her.

Been there, done that (accidentally of course). Sank too deep with insufficient protective gear and the transmitter got all wet and did not work anymore. I was forced to use a REAL KEY to open the door, as if it was 2000 again When at home i could open it, change the battery and let it dry. Luckily it did work again then.

OK, that's never happened to me, thankfully. My car still starts on a key (built 2002), so I'm used to that. I tend to be very careful of my keys when I'm out, don't want to have to break down my door to get into my home!

I've never heard them referred to as "the girls", but I've known a few women who refer to them as "puppies". I definitely think those would keep her afloat indefinitely!.
