A backhoe, lucky not to get bogged down with that, still that would explain it.
Well, not sure about advertising but definitely the truth.
That backhoe is getting about a bit, still I suppose if you are going to hire one might as well get the full use out of it.
Plans are always perfect, it is the outcomes that sometimes that usually aren't.

This was strange, it was soft when she pressed down but clung tightly when she pulled up. Her only movement was down.

So far so good, the sides of the ditch were OK. Maybe the centre would be as well. It was a bit of a risk, she wouldn't be able to reach the reeds from there.
