Rare Nature Sighting--Mama Bear With Quadruplets

Postby Mynock » Sat Aug 24, 2024 5:37 pm

Caught on my parents security cam. For a Black Bear to have triplets is rare, when they do usually one of them ends up being a runt and doesn't make it. I've never seen or heard of one having Quadruplets!

We live in SE Pennsylvania now, but my wife is from west central PA; her family would see a bear now and then, but I don’t think they ever saw 5 bears at once! Good catch with the security camera.

Wow. Looks a bit like they stopped around a bird feeder?

That's really cool to get those pics and they look so furry and cute...but we probably wouldn't want to go out to say hi.
