Like totally true! Second gal will really have problems to move at all very soon. A baggy suit like that is just the same as a victorian dress we have seen earlier. First gal is much more properly dressed both for venturing out and a smooth sink in the deep spots ahead. She may ruin her leather-pants but there's always a second chance

I'm not sure where the baggy suit came from, but it was a bit different so I thought what the heck. The leather pants should be OK as long as she prepared them first and cleaned and re-proofed them afterwards. I've had leather boots that were well abused and they survived fine. They were good boots to start with though.

That patch looks really soft and too watery for a safe sink. We have to wait and see what happens when they want to get out and realize that there is really nothing around them than quaking and gurgling soft mud and trying to push against it is completely useless.
